Tami Smith brings over 10 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and has helped thousands of women build healthier habits through her strength training program and macro friendly meals.

After trying other strength training apps, she quickly realized how long the workouts were, and thought, "how can I even fit this into my schedule?" That's when she developed the Simply Strong App.

Hi, I’m Tami Smith — certified personal trainer, mom of two, and the founder of Simply Strong. I created this space to help women cut through the noise of fitness and find strength in a way that feels simple, sustainable, and empowering. I know what it’s like to be busy, overwhelmed, and unsure of where to start. That’s why Simply Strong is all about making strength training approachable — no gimmicks, no extremes, just real, effective workouts that fit your life.

My mission is to help women build confidence through movement — not just to look strong, but to feel strong in every part of life. Whether you're just getting started or looking to take your training to the next level, you’ll find practical support, smart programming, and encouragement here. I also believe in the power of fueling your body well, which is why I include simple, macro-friendly nutrition tips and high-protein recipes to support your strength — never to complicate it.

Education

Tami earned her Bachelors degree in Business from SUNY Cortland. She lettered in field hockey at Marathon High School in Marathon, NY.
